Address Cleanup Highlights
Why clean addresses before a mailing? -- To save money !
It doesn't make sense to pay to send letters that you know will be returned. Quite often address list correction service will pay for itself with the first mailing.
Options available to both address types
- receive cleaned up files in less than 2 hours.
- Upload any csv file as our online tools make it easy
- capture your clean list in your online address book
We recommend cleaning your mailing address list any time that you acquire a list from a third party. Whether you get a mailing list from a mailing list bureau or inherit it from the last community management company, if someone gave you a list to use, you probably should clean it up before attempting a mailing.
Long ago, the postal carrier (postman) would deliver your letter to you wherever you lived or moved to. They just took a little extra effort to make sure the mail got to you. These days, unfortunately, your address needs to be close to perfect to get the mail where it needs to be.
Our address correction tool will correct your addresses and make sure they conform to postal standards. Then we will send a csv file back to you that you can open in a spreadsheet and see the changes that we made. This file will show you your original address data as well as what we changed in the address. If you opt for the Deluxe Address Cleanup option, we will also show you if someone has moved, provided they filled out a change of address card with the USPS change of address service, and will tell you when they filed the change with the post office.
